YODIO!
For my 1st emerging technology, I used a podcast site called Yodio. Its a fun site that allows you to easily match up an audio recording over a picture. This would be great for anyone who wanted to share pictures with family over the Internet and explain them as they went. Not only would this be great to use for family but I could think of some great ways businesses could use this site. For example, a realtor. They could show a property and explain it as their clients viewed the actual house. This site was extremely easy to use. As soon as you log onto the site a video plays for you and explains how everything works and the details. Plus its free, which is great. When making my audio, I had to set up an account and register my phone. All I had to do was enter my name, email, etc. Also, I had to register my phone number so I could call them and make recordings. You can use your phone to make the audio but for some reason the site was not pulling up my recording. I called there free (877) "recording number" that they gave me and it even greeted me by name. Like an answering machine, it beeped and I was able to make a recording. That recording went right to my account. From there all I had to do was upload my picture, drag the picture and the audio file to the appropriate place (which was really easy and not confusing by the way), name my Yodio and publish. My advise to anyone using this site would be to watch the demo video. I learned everything I needed from that.

Let the posts begin...
My name is Jamie Ostrow and I moved to Indianapolis in 2008. My husband is a Candy Broker and got a job representing Indiana, so here we are. We got married May 15th, 2010 and welcomed our 1st baby girl into the world on December 7, 2010. We also have 2 dogs that are way too spoiled. I'm origianally from Florida and like to think of myself as a true southerner :) I stay home with my daughter, Brooklyn, and go to school. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing and supportive family behind me.

Using Blogger...
It was fairly easing setting up my profile. Everything is self explainatory. My favorite thing about Blogger is that it's so easy and quick to upload photos. I think blogs are so boring when they dont have pictures.
